Development Director

James leads on our major projects and works to ensure they are high value, not just financially but socially and environmentally. He also leads on StudioHIVE in its focus on creating sustainable developments. Recently, James has been leading the stakeholder negotiations on the Weston-super-Mare RFC development and The Iron Works.

Personal Achievements.

James was part of the Skanska team who delivered the Lakeshore development in South Bristol, transforming the former Grade II listed Imperial Tobacco Headquarters into residential flats.

Since February 2021, James has been a Design West Expert, working within the development sector and decision-makers to shape better places across the South West of England.

In his spare time, James enjoys hiking in Snowdon, walking his dog and is a founding member of StudioHIVE’s beer club!
