StudioHIVE celebrate ten years of success.
The StudioHIVE team spent an evening celebrating their achievements over the last 10 years with friends, family, and colleagues. Even three rhinos made an appearance!
The RWA in Clifton was a superb venue to host the celebrations on the 10th October. Ade Olaosebikan, part of the talented team at StudioHIVE Architects, had a piece of his work on display as part of the 171st Annual Open Exhibition. A fantastic achievement which impressed everyone in attendance!
Papadeli provided some delicious canapes and ensured that the drinks were flowing throughout the evening. Papadeli catered for our opening party on Oakfield Road 10 years ago, so it felt like a real full circle moment for them to cater for us 10 years down the line!
The Bristol String Quartet played a mix of classical and modern music which was the perfect welcome to the main gallery and accompaniment throughout the evening.
Jason Collard, Managing Director of StudioHIVE spoke about how the business was formed 10 years ago and how the team have navigated challenges including Brexit, COVID-19, and the cost-of-living crisis. Many of the guests who were in attendance had been involved with the business since its formation in 2014, and it was special that they could be there to celebrate with us 10 years down the line.
Josh Picton, Assistant Project Manager and Social Value lead had the exciting job of launching our #PaintOurRhino2 competition. The new mother rhino will be designed by an artist at Jamacia Street Studios, where StudioHIVE became a founder earlier this year.
The baby rhino will be designed by a student at Wraxall Primary School, just down the road from our new office at The Temperance House. The two new rhinos will proudly sit alongside our current rhino Harry at our new home in Wraxall.
We’d like to thank everyone who came along and celebrated with us. Here’s to the next ten years!
