Mark Jones

Director of Finance

Responsibilities:

With over 30 years of experience in property development and construction, Mark leads on all financial and commercial matters and provides the financial assessments of the Studio HIVE development projects, working closely with Jason to drive the company in meeting its aspirations. Mark also takes responsibility for the delivery of the Studio HIVE portfolio working in partnership with Peter Jones to deliver projects proficiently.

Personal Achievements:

Mark has led as development Director on some complex projects, such as the Royal William Yard in Plymouth, gaining planning and listed building consent for a collection of Grade 1 listed buildings. He also led on its delivery in collaboration with the in house construction team completing striking waterside heritage apartments, dynamic office spaces and quayside retail and leisure space. Mark has also lead as head of regeneration successful planning and listed building consents for the Grade 2 star listed Oldway Mansion and Gardens, incorporating residential and leisure uses, as well as planning permission for a large scale leisure and retail opportunity in Plymouth.

Mark enjoys cycling and is specifically developing an interest in time trials. He continues his passion for motor racing and enjoys anything that embodies his love for cars.
